Are fewer people dying from Covid in China than here?

In many places in China, mostly in rural areas, TCM still plays a major role in the basic medical care system - with unfortunately unprovable, but probably positive consequences.

Are fewer people dying of Covid in China than here? In reality, I think, but that remains hidden from us because China does not give out figures that have been determined on the same basis as ours. And yes: here too, i.e. in the West, the figures are probably hardly useful because the definition of who has died from or with Covid is not the same everywhere, because politicians notoriously gloss over things and are world champions in lying, cheating, concealing and covering up, because each country and they themselves want to look better than the other, because lobbyists conceal facts, because pharmaceutical companies emphasise their vaccination products as being the best without being able to prove it, nor do they have to prove it, because it is not clear whether a vaccination does more harm than good, because that is often the case, especially when you have to treat a large number of people in order to save a few. Cases of failure (post-vaccine syndrome, deaths) can then become significant. I'm just thinking of the brother of one of our employees at Complemedis, who suffered a severe leg vein thrombosis after the vaccination, from which he is still suffering months later, and so on...

No, no, no, all that remains to be seen and I don't wonder whether the Chinese or Western vaccines that are not based on mRNA technology are really that much worse than this mRNA chemistry. But I would be very interested to know what role TCM plays in this whole story. You can read in the press (e.g. NZZ of 31.12.22) that after the sudden abolition of all Covid measures in China at the beginning of December, practically the entire population had Covid within days, the hospitals were overcrowded and long queues formed in front of the crematoria. My Chinese mother-in-law died on 10 December at the age of 84, at the very beginning of the lifting of the Covid measures. A few days later, the price of a cremation increased several times over. China is shamelessly and in this case irreverently making money out of people's misery. Well, shamelessly making money from people in need is not a specifically Chinese characteristic. It is also done with refugees from Africa and the Middle East and recently the energy companies have also been doing it to us and many others by feigning supply chain problems.

In autumn 2021, Jens Spahn, the health minister of Germany until 2021, loudly proclaimed that by spring 2022 we would all would either be vaccinated, recovered or dead. I wasn't until Christmas 2022, then received a load of viruses as a direct import from China a load of viruses and finally had my Covid infection. It lasted around a week, wasn't actually as severe or painful as the flu I'd had earlier. But I was left with a persistent cough remained. I took Chen Xiang (Aquilaria) for this. Already the day after the first dose, the cough improved by an estimated 80%. Then I ran out of the remedy. After a week the cough still remained at the remaining 20%. Then I had access to Chen Xiang again and after a day the cough decreased significantly and suddenly. abruptly. It is now almost non-existent.

And I happened to hear Jens Spahn speak in a panel discussion and I almost started to like him a little. He said that he didn't know a single person, scientist, politician, doctor or task force employee who hadn't made an outrageous nonsense mistake at some point during the Covid pandemic, with the exception of himself. It remains to be hoped that these misjudgements will ever be dealt with, by whom and in which countries.

Nota bene: Chen Xiang of an appropriate quality is probably only available from Complemedis or from customers who bought it from us. Why is that? Because! Chen Xiang (Aquilariae lignum)

The Chinese government, and this is the interesting thing for us, once again strongly recommends treating Covid with TCM medicines. Xi Jinping holds this type of medicine in high regard, the media report. He describes it as a treasure of Chinese civilisation. At China's request, the WHO evaluated Chinese studies on the use of TCM medicines against Covid at the beginning of 2022 and came to the conclusion that TCM could help in addition to the usual treatment, especially in mild and moderate cases. This raises the question of what the usual treatment is in China and elsewhere. And the WHO probably reacted cautiously because the quality of the studies is often not good (as is often the case with many studies outside China, e.g. in our country) and therefore it was not possible to make a clearly favourable assessment.

The fact that many TCM medicinal plants have antiviral and antibacterial, or in TCM terminology in TCM terminology wind expelling, Qi-strengthening, draining, phlegm-transforming draining, Phlegm-transforming, Yin- or Yang-supporting, We TCM practitioners know that they have harmonising properties. That they have a positive effect in many respects is something we experience in our in our practices every day. We know with certainty that TCM works, not only complementary to conventional medicine, but also on its own or precisely because precisely because conventional medicine does not interfere with it. We know this even without studies. At the moment of greatest desperation even the authorities in Switzerland called for people to report alternative treatment methods to them, with funding available, to support relevant studies. However, we had neither the time or the human resources to conduct such studies. The authorities set the bar high and it would have taken an incredible effort to to set up a clean study design and have it approved by the authorities approved by the authorities, as this would have been a condition for financial support.

But it would have been nice if Xi Jinping had urged his servants show the West how well TCM works. He could have invited the WHO to accompany the studies seriously with its people and check them for consistency and subject them to strict quality criteria.

It is a pity that once again an opportunity has been missed to demonstrate the positive the positive effects of TCM to the whole world. But perhaps I am mourning the matter too soon and we will soon be reading about successful and valid studies with favourable results for TCM.

Until then, we can only hope, assume and believe that that, thanks to TCM, there will be fewer deaths in China after the abolition of Covid measures than in other countries, of course taking into account comparable taking into account comparable collectives in terms of age, urban-rural, climate, diet, etc. I would rather have certainty than faith.
