In our dispensing model, patients order the herbal formulations from Complemedis via their therapists. Complemedis prepares the remedy on behalf of the patient (according to the therapist's instructions) and sends it to the dispensing centre requested by the patient (pharmacy or drugstore). The division of responsibilities between the dispensing centres and Complemedis is regulated in a cooperation agreement.
The prescription recommendation, the medicine labelled with dosage instructions and composition label, and the invoice with payment slip are included in the package for the patient. The patient does not have to pay anything at the dispensing centre, just collect the package. Depending on their insurance situation, patients can claim reimbursement from their supplementary insurance.
Our innovative dispensing model is not a classic contract manufacturing process. For most dispensaries, the effort involved is minimised and opens up new opportunities in cross-selling and consulting. Our products can be dispensed quickly and easily and save patients money.
