This weather phenomenon, which recurs every year between 4 and 20 June, is known as the sheep cold. The temperature drops by up to 10 degrees for a few days. Sheep should only be sheared after this period, hence the name.

Dog days is a period of heat from around mid-July to mid-August, exactly between 23 July and 23 August, which is astrologically related to the position of Sirius or its constellation Canis Major (greater dog).

Defy the sheep cold with a power soup

It's not just the sheep that are affected by the cold in June, but also us humans. A warming power soup is therefore recommended.

  • Sha Shen - Glehniae radix
  • Da Zao - Jujubae fructus
